Early in the team’s history, the women’s professional team, the Atlanta Beat, did not make a strong showing in their team play, nor did they have an impact on the league. However, in the recent years, the team has really picked up performance, as coaching staff, as well as the owners of the team, have really begun recruiting, and trying to build a team which can perform for their home crowd in Atlanta. Over the past few seasons, the professional women’s team, the Atlanta Beat, have really made a name for themselves on and off the field. When just joining the league, the team was not a contendor, and had slow seasons, a small turnout to games, and very little recruitment taking place. But over the past 3 to 5 years, the team has really picked up its performance. The Atlanta Beat are one of the most exciting teams in Women-s Professional Soccer right now. As a team that thrives on cooperation, hard work and teamwork, all players have contributed immensely to their success. However, three players have consistently stood out above the rest this season.
