Over the past few seasons, the professional women’s team, the Atlanta Beat, have really made a name for themselves on and off the field. When just joining the league, the team was not a contendor, and had slow seasons, a small turnout to games, and very little recruitment taking place. Over the past two seasons, the team has significantly won more games, scored more goals in games, had more players scoring in general, and had allowed fewer goals in all games. Although they are not on top of the leader board in women’s soccer, the team and coaching staff has really been heading in the right direction. With a new squad, and a new coaching staff, the owners, as well as players and coaching staff, are hoping for a great season, and giving the fans what they want to see out on the field.
