The Atlanta Beat joined the Women’s Professional Soccer League in 2010. Their inaugural game was played at Kennesaw State University Soccer Stadium in April and enjoyed a variety of successes until the suspension of the league in 2012.

Their biggest accomplishment came in 2009 when they drafted a number of players from international teams. These players made a large impact on the team and, in turn have thrived on the success of their team mates.

The pride that they have brought to the city of Atlanta is also considered another big accomplishment. The whole story can be found at http://www.oregonlive.com/opinion/index.ssf/2013/03/portland_timbers_deliver_on_pr.html Thousands of fans on a yearly basis were able to attend professional soccer games in Atlanta for the first time in 2010 when the team played their inaugural game at Kennesaw State University.

Their continued success has been built upon the players that they initially drafted before they played their first major league soccer match. When they founded the team, the initial team members they hired were taken from other first or second place teams in the league. These six players, combined with the international talent that they have been able to acquire during past seasons will guarantee the team’s success for years to come.

One thing that is difficult to debate is that journalists love to interview local and national coaches. This is usually because sports coaches are known for having boisterous personalities. Unfortunately, finding a coach that has time to speak with the press can be frustrating for many reporters. It is extremely crucial to learn how to connect with these busy professionals in a direct and meaningful way. Coaches need to be able to trust that your interview will be honest without painting their sports team in a negative light. It is for this reason that you should always be careful when requesting interviews.

Gaining an interview with a coach can be accomplished in several quick steps. Firstly, contact their representatives several times to show them that you are serious about the interview. Coaches love dedication. Next, make sure that conversations between all involved parties are always light and positive. This will help you to earn the coach’s trust over a short period of time. Finally, make sure to write interview questions that are interesting and favorable to the coach and his sports team. Knowing that you are there to help his or her team will usually warm the interviewee up to speaking candidly with you.

After a great turnaround season last year, the Atlanta Beat women’s professional team is looking to make things even better this year, and to recruit new talent, in order to make it back to their playoff level game, and to get the team even further this up coming year. So, after a great performance in last year’s playoffs, the team was eliminated in the second round, and the players, coaching staff, and owners look to make a repeat of this performance, and hopefully make it a bit further, and hopefully even to the finals, if they are able to recruit the right positions, and bring in the help they need for backups.

The team has a great mid-field squad, and great defense, however is lacking on offensive strikers, and needs a couple back up goalies, in order to really give the team the depth it needs, to make it further in the rounds of the playoffs, and hopefully be a contendor to make it to the finals. So, the coaching staff has begun its recruiting, and has brought in one backup goalie, and is still looking for a second; additionally, they are hoping to find at least 2 or 3 strikers from long range, to complete the squad.Related Article : Are NHL teams better off trying to acquire a top goalie through free agency or the draft?

Early in the team’s history, the women’s professional team, the Atlanta Beat, did not make a strong showing in their team play, nor did they have an impact on the league. However, in the recent years, the team has really picked up performance, as coaching staff, as well as the owners of the team, have really begun recruiting, and trying to build a team which can perform for their home crowd in Atlanta. The team had gone through a couple off seasons, and low win total early on in their development. And, many players wished to be traded, looking to go to a team where they could really compete, and hopefully win a title.

However, in the past 5 years of so, the team has really made a name for itself, and in fact, over the past couple years have made the playoffs, and look to do so again this coming season. With a young team, fairly new coaching staff, and owners which are willing to recruit the best, in order to get the talent to make it far in the playoffs, and hopefully to the finals, this young women’s team has a strong future ahead of them, if they continue with the strong level of play.

Over the past few seasons, the professional women’s team, the Atlanta Beat, have really made a name for themselves on and off the field. When just joining the league, the team was not a contendor, and had slow seasons, a small turnout to games, and very little recruitment taking place. But over the past 3 to 5 years, the team has really picked up its performance. From the coaching and owners taking more time to bring in the right recruits, to players taking the time in the offseason to really improve their game, and be able to compete on the field when the season starts back up.Get more information here. http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/new-canada-women-s-coach-looking-more-direct-style-1888531

Over the past two seasons, the team has significantly won more games, scored more goals in games, had more players scoring in general, and had allowed fewer goals in all games. Although they are not on top of the leader board in women’s soccer, the team and coaching staff has really been heading in the right direction. With a new squad, and a new coaching staff, the owners, as well as players and coaching staff, are hoping for a great season, and giving the fans what they want to see out on the field.

The Atlanta Beat are one of the most exciting teams in Women-s Professional Soccer right now. As a team that thrives on cooperation, hard work and teamwork, all players have contributed immensely to their success. However, three players have consistently stood out above the rest this season.

Forward Meghan Lenczyk has been a major offensive force this season. Lenczyk has contributed two goals and an assist so far, leading the team in scoring. A team leader and example for younger players, she has risen to the challenge to lead her team to victory.Never heard of this before? Get up to speed here.

Midfielder Carli Lloyd has also been a major factor in the Beat-s success. She-s tied with Lencyzk for goals scored so far this season and has made the team-s only penalty kick so far.

Finally, Midfielder Lori Chalupny has performed admirably too. The team-s captain, Chalupny has scored two goals and started every single game so far this season. She has even been nominated for the 2011 Sportswoman of the Year Award by the Women-s Professional Soccer League!

These three team leaders have helped the Atlanta Beats immensely this season. They serve as role models that other players in the league can emulate and look up to.
